Antarctica’s version of the bus… it’s extremely normal to see people getting dragged around like this.
And so begins my last week at the South Pole…
Winter is coming.
Things are really winding down here. The population is dropping fast and the energy has shifted. It might sound crazy in a place surrounded by nothingness, but I swear Fall is here. The sun is starting to call it a day as it spirals towards the horizon and the light is more golden. Temps are getting extremely cold again and the air feels crisper. Even the Ice looks different, Like colder/darker...
I don’t think I’ll ever have another job again where when I look out...

SPIFF: Full Report
The celebs were out last night for sure. It was a packed galley and an adept/lively crowd. In total, 12 films played and the quality was actually pretty good. It felt great to host the fest and crack a few local jokes, especially one joke about no making out during the films, which was aimed directly at this one couple that is always making out publicly around the Station. The South Pole International Film Festival is this weekend! And I’ve had 3 entries accepted into the fest!! It was quite easy actually, just had to submit them… I’m definitely hoping to win the Pole d’Or though!! Anyway, my entries are:
