A friend from South Pole just sent me this pic. During the Ice sculpture contest (you might remember the Ice Couch) I attempted to make an Ice Basketball Hoop with the goal of hosting the 1st Annual South Pole Dunk Contest. I got pretty far until I accidentally chainsawed off the rim. Ugh, it was like 3 hours of hard work for nothing; but then again, when else in my life will I get to use a chainsaw whilst standing/teetering on a ladder to carve a gigantic pice of Ice?!
